Project info

Project overview

This project comprised the development and finishing of a multi-use accommodation facility featuring both modern block construction and traditional cottage elements. The works included structural execution of the main building with spacious corridors, tiled terraces, stair blocks, and polished interiors, alongside the creation of rustic brick huts with thatched roofs for complementary use or guest amenities. Scope covered civil construction, plastering, flooring, painting, electrical fitting provisions, and exterior landscaping with paved walkways and greenery. The result is a functional, aesthetically balanced property blending contemporary design with natural architectural elements, suitable for residential, hostel, or hospitality purposes.

Challenge

  • Coordinating Mixed Construction Styles
Managing both modern concrete structures and traditional brick-and-thatch cottages required different skill sets, materials, and execution techniques, making scheduling and supervision more complex.

  • Finishing Quality Across Large Areas
Long corridors, extensive terrace spaces, and multiple rooms demanded consistent plastering, flooring, and painting quality, increasing the difficulty of maintaining uniform standards.

  • Logistics and Material Handling
Transporting and storing diverse materials—tiles, bricks, thatch, balustrades, paints, and structural elements—without damage or delays posed a logistical challenge, especially across wide site zones.

  • Safety During Construction
Scaffold work on upper levels, terrace tiling, and handling heavy elements like stair railings and roof structures required continuous safety oversight to avoid onsite risks.

  • Integration of Electrical and Utility Provisions
Concealed wiring, lighting placements, external lamp posts, and provision for plumbing had to be planned precisely to match both aesthetic and functional requirements in different building sections.
